After launching Dark Souls on consoles last year, Namco Bandai and From Software have finally released the PC version of the critically acclaimed RPG today, in the form of the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, as well as a special launch trailer for the challenging experience.

From Software made a name for itself by releasing the surprisingly popular Demon’s Souls back in 2009, which impressed many gamers due to its extremely challenging nature.

With last year’s Dark Souls, the Japanese developer made things even trickier for gamers on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

Now, after plenty of petitions and pleas, the studio and publisher Namco Bandai have released today a special version of the game, in the form of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition, on the PC platform.

The RPG has also received a launch trailer, showing off a battle between the protagonist and a huge dragon. As with most battles in Dark Souls, the players dies, serving as a warning for those who believe they’ll easily go through the experience.

You can buy the PC version of Dark Souls on either Steam or GameStop.
