Mobile phone carrier Sprint is expected to bring to the market in the United States a new smartphone as soon as the next month kicks off, namely the BlackBerry Curve 9350, which was already officially introduced at Sprint, but got delayed.

The new mobile phone was initially set to arrive at the wireless carrier during this month, but the company decided to push it back to October,

However, although they unveiled that users will be able to purchase the new Curve 9350 only in October, the operator did not offer specific info on when that would happen.

Previous rumors suggested that October 2nd would be the lucky day for enthusiasts, and it seems that nothing was changed in the meantime, a leaked document available via Android Central shows.

Moreover, the price tag that BlackBerry Curve 9350 will sport when made available on Sprint's network is supposedly the same, namely $79.99 after MIR.

Considering the fact that the new smartphone arrives on shelves with the BlackBerry 7 OS on board, the price tag appears to be an appealing one.

This is the CDMA flavor of BlackBerry Curve 9360, the smartphone that we got the chance to play with at the IFA 2011 show in Berlin, and which was launched as an affordable option for all users out there looking for a new smartphone to upgrade.

The handset arrives on shelves with a 2.4-inch screen, a QWERTY keyboard, and a faster application processor when compared to its predecessors.

It also packs a 5MP camera on the back, with video recording capabilities, as well as a microSD memory card slot so that users could add some extra storage space into the mix.

The phone's specs list also includes 3G connectivity, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, and support for a wide range of features that any user would like to find in a smartphone.

Not to mention that it can offer fast Internet browsing due to the new platform version, as well as access to applications available for download via the BlackBerry App World.
