Cartman "Wii" on South Park

Looks like gaming blood runs through South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone veins. After implementing in their show World of Warcraft, Pokemon and the PSP,
here comes Nintendo's Wii.

The latest South Park episode shows your favorite fat kid and mine, Cartman, craving for a Wii. As the Wii launch is not set for another three weeks, in the show and in real life also, what is there left to do for a true Nintendo fan? Hmm…maybe travel into the future? Yeah right! Even the guys over at South Park were not daring enough to do that, but instead, they froze Cartman so that time would pass faster for him.

The original plan was for Cartman to come out of the cryogenic state just in time for the Wii launch, but as you know, something has to go wrong in order to make things more interesting. This was also the case, as Cartman woke up 500 years into the future. This was just the first part of the episode planned to be continued next week. But an important fact was revealed, namely that 500 years from now, there won't be any video games (hopefully the game industry will last another 60 years or so till most of us will pass away).

In conclusion, either this is a desperate call to Nintendo to send over a Wii for the South Park crew, either a devious marketing campaign, which would not be nice from the South Park guys.
