The swap has unlocked a vehicle in the Valhalla map also

The multiplayer Beta of Halo 3 hasn't even begun properly and Bungie's already making changes? Don't worry, it's nothing bad. All the developer has changed is one game mode: from Team Training to Big Team Training, and this isn't all the good stuff happening with the swap in game modes. Bungie left something out.

First things first - here's the official word from the developer, straight from the Bungie News website:

"Like any good chef we're making some changes to the recipe in the Public tastetest we call the Halo 3 Beta. This week we're making our first change to the Matchmaking Playlist . We're swapping out Team Training and adding in Big Team Training. In Big Team Training players will play 6v6 on High Ground and Valhalla. In addition to some existing modes look for some new modes in Big Team Training, like Multi Flag CTF on Valhalla. Additionally, we've made some slight tweaks to the Team Skirmish playlist that should add greater variety in the opponents you'll face."

And now for the part Bungie forgot to mention and keen-eyed blokes over at FiringSquad discovered: allowing gamers to battle it out in Big Team battle also unlocked a new vehicle on the Valhalla map: the Banshee. Valhalla is the biggest map of the lot. The Banshee Covenant Vehicle being available on it to use will make the Beta evermore enjoyable for gamers.

However, the news about modders being able to break into Beta's code and extract all that precious information about the full game hasn't been updated. Nor has it been confirmed or denied by Bungie. Then again, why would they? Disclosing everything about the full version of Halo 3 would only take the edge off for gamers. Not to mention those who are currently into the Beta.

This is all for now. Select your Big Team wisely and enjoy.
