Britney Spears and ex Kevin Federline deny bodyguard’s claims in latest lawsuit

One of Britney Spears’ former bodyguards, Fernando Flores, is taking action against the pop star for harassing him and exposing him to traumatizing behavior. The lawsuit is a fraud, the singer’s representatives say.

Flores first made headlines in June this year, when he went to the tabloids to say how, during his short stay with Spears, she would often hit on him, walk around the house with little to no clothes and even belt beat her own children.

At the time these allegations came out in the press, Spears said nothing regarding them – but she can no longer keep quiet, now that Flores is taking her to court over them.

All charges formulated against Spears in court documents are baseless and represent one man’s attempt at putting his name out there to become famous, the singer’s reps say in a statement to People magazine.

Flores was fired because he couldn’t do his job, and was for too little time with the singer to have lived through the ordeal he’s trying to sell to the media.

“This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself,” Britney’s reps say.

As for claims that Britney would often neglect or even beat her two boys, the allegations are preposterous.

As we also reported at the time, after Flores’ story came out this summer, the Department of Children paid the singer a visit to see whether there was any truth to it. There wasn’t.

“The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores’ accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts,” the same statement says.

Britney’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline, who continues to have primary custody of the two boys, also comes to her defense through his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan.

According to Kaplan, Federline too had competent people look into Flores’ allegations of child abuse and can now say that they’re not true.

“He is satisfied that the allegations are a product of economic motives. They are as baseless as they seem,” Kaplan says, as cited by E! Online.
