AT&T has just added Blackberry Pearl 3G and Blackberry Curve 9300 3G smartphones to its offering. Both devices are available from the major carrier starting this week with 2-year contracts for $149.99 USD, and $99.99 USD respectively.

Officially launched earlier this year, both smartphones were rumored to be released through AT&T carrier till this year's holidays.

AT&T is the first carrier to introduce the Pearl 9100 3G in United States, while Curve 9300 3G is already available through Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile.

Blackberry Pearl 9100 3G is closer to the high-end tier than Curve 9300 3G. The device comes with 2.25-inch TFT display with 262k colors support (360x400 pixels resolution) and runs Blackberry OS 5.0.

Unlike most of Blackberry smartphones, Pearl 9100 3G comes with a half-QWERTY keyboard, but it includes the well-known touch sensitive optical trackpad.

Other key features of the phone include: HSDPA 3.6 Mbps, HSUPA, 256 MB RAM, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB included), 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, 624 MHz processor, GPS with A-GPS support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP.

Blackberry Curve 9300 3G is on the lower side and comes with a 2.46-inch TFT display with 65K colors (320x240 pixels resolution).

The phone includes the usual full QWERTY keyboard, as well as touch-sensitive optical trackpad.

Other highlights of the smartphone include: HSDPA 3.6 Mbps, 256 MB ROM and 256 MB RAM, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS support (Blackberry Maps).

Both devices are set to receive a software upgrade to Blackberry OS 6.0, but there's no info regarding the release date.

Blackberry Pearl 9100 3G is available in Gradient Red, while the Curve 9300 3G can only be purchased in Graphite Grey for the moment.
