Mobile phone users in Canada can now enjoy a series of more BlackBerry smartphones with lower price tags than before. We already reported that Bold 9700 enjoys a lower price tag on Bell, and that the BlackBerry Storm is available for free from the same carrier on a three-year contract agreement, and now we learn that Storm can be purchased free of contract from Bell for a lower price tag than before, and that the BlackBerry Curve 8530 has seen a price cut on Telus.

Mobile phone carrier Telus released the BlackBerry Curve 8530 on its airwaves only about two weeks ago, and now it has cut its price tag in half. In other words, those interested in purchasing this Curve from the operator will find it available for only $24.99 upon the signing of a three-year contract agreement. One thing that is certain here is that the new price tag seems even more appealing than the previous one, and we might also expect for 8530 to become free on contract in the near future.

Those who might not have encountered this BlackBerry smartphone from Research In Motion should learn that it sports a 3.2-inch display that boasts a 320 x 240 pixel resolution, coupled with a full QWERTY keyboard, 256 MB of internal memory and a microSD memory card that supports up to 16 GB of additional storage space, built-in GPS, Bluetoot, WiFi, a 2.0-megapixel photo snapper, OS 5.0, and more. The device is available for purchase at Telus here.

As for the BlackBerry Storm at Bell, it is available for free with a three-year contract agreement, something that most of you might have learned already, and can also be purchased free of contract for only $249.95. As the guys over at mobilesyrup note, this is one of the nicest price tags for a BlackBerry device, and it might suggest that a new flavor of the touchscreen-enabled handset is on its way to Bell. Check on Storm at the carrier here, and keep an eye on this space for more updates.
