Brings along various small enhancements, no major change

Research In Motion is set to add some more enhancements to its BlackBerry PlayBook devices via software updates, and some more of these have been included in a new beta release of BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0.

The mobile phone maker has packed the latest beta release of the platform with a new set of languages, as well as with a series of improvements for BlackBerry Bridge, and some other multi-media enhancements.

However, it appears that there is no major change that’s worth mentioning when compared to the previous beta flavor of the platform.

The changelog does not specifically mention anything on this, but CrackBerry suggests that there might also be a series of security enhancements aimed mainly at the DingleBerry exploit.

The new BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0.0.6149 beta release is already available for download for those who participate in RIM’s testing program.
