The BlackBerry solution is already available in Cambodia, and Research in Motion says it proved quite successful, something that determined it to bring a new smartphone to the market in the country, namely the BlackBerry Bold 9700. The new device is now available in Cambodia courtesy of a partnership between hello, Alcatel-Lucent and Research In Motion.

“Customers are very excited with the BlackBerry solution, and they want the very latest BlackBerry smartphones. The new BlackBerry Bold 9700 has been receiving much critical acclaim around the world and we are pleased to bring this new high-performance model to our customers in Cambodia,” Mr. Syed Azmeer, chief marketing officer of hello, commented on the new launch.

The new BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone offers a large, hi-resolution display, being capable of delivering a vivid viewing experience when it comes to browsing through web sites, photos, videos, files and more. At the same time, the new device comes with a trackpad that enables an easy navigation across its menus, as users only need to glide their finger over the trackpad to scroll and press it to select.

The handset also comes with desktop syncing capabilities and can offer up to 35 hours of music playback, RIM states. The new mobile phone includes a nice range of messaging features, including access to both business and personal email accounts, not to mention that the BlackBerry solution sports social networking capabilities, phone, organizer, and more.

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone comes with a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper, support for high-speed 3G networks and Wi-Fi connectivity, memory card slot for removable storage space to be added into the mix. Additionally, users can access the BlackBerry App World, from where they can download a wide range of applications for their device so as to personalize their experience.
