The phone features dedicated music keys

The BenQ-Siemens EL71 Slider Phone announced this year at CeBIT has recently received FCC's approval. The handset has a thickness of 16.5 mm and features an elegant design.

Wrapped in a metal casing, the EL71 sports a 2 inch QVGA display supporting 240 x 320 pixels resolution in 262k colors and a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash that can capture pictures as well as video. A music player capable of playing MP3/AAC/AAC+ can be easily accessed via the dedicated music controls placed on the front of the device. Users can use a Music Cable IMH-100 to connect to a HiFi System for an increased audio experience.

The storage space consists of 16 MB internal memory which can be further expanded via miniSD cards. Other features include GPRS/EDGE for high speed data transfer and Bluetooth, USB connectivity.
