While Assassin's Creed II isn't available for the PC yet, and it won't be either until March 16 next year, console gamers are up to their knees in Italian assassinations, but not in the La Piovra way. Not only that, but there are also two new DLCs in the works for the game, and they'll only be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In January, AC2 players will have a chance to play through the Battle of Forli memory, while, in late February, Ezio will finally remember the Bonfire of the Vanities.

While the two DLCs weren't priced the first time Ubisoft teased us with them, today, the developer finally made up its mind concerning the content's value. Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities will count as Sequence 12 and 13 in the memory stream, the two corrupted files that are skipped in the game just before the ending. The battle of Forli will be priced at $4 or 320 Microsoft Points, while Bonfire of the Vanities will be worth slightly more, namely $5 or 400 Microsoft Points.

The first DLC will let players join forces with Niccolo Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza in order to hold their ground against the Templar's siege of Forli, though “joining forces” might be an overstatement, considering that they'll probably be the ones responsible for the actual fighting. Six new memories will be included in the pack, and they'll also get another shot at flying around in Leonardo da Vinci's flying machine over Romagna.

As for unlucky Sequence 13, Bonfire of the Vanities, Machiavelli is once again part of the plot, but, this time, Ezio will be tasked with hindering monk Savonarola and his devious contraptions. This time around, there will be ten new memories available, along with a brand-new district of Florence. Ezio will also receive a brand-new ability, the spring-jump.
