Ubisoft's next big title, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, isn't just a rushed sequel but a huge title that will change the franchise forever, according to Brotherhood's lead game designer, Steve Masters.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the sequel to last year's extremely successful Assassin's Creed 2, which upgraded and improved on the experience delivered by Ubisoft's first title back in 2007.

With additions like multiplayer, the ability to enlist the help of different types of companions and a more streamlined story, Assassin's Cred: Brotherhood is shaping up to be a pretty successful sequel.

According to Masters, while some people may have thought that Ubisoft rushed to make this new title right after work on Assassin's Creed 2 was launched, these new features will no doubt convince them to try it out.

"Yeah, I think people started off with an idea of, you know, "they're pushing this out fast!" But really, once they see it, once they play it and experience it, they understand that it's actually a really huge game," said Masters.

"The additions that we're making to the gameplay and to the storyline change things forever. It's going to be a huge experience that people are going to really enjoy." he added.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is set to appear today for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America, on November 19 in Europe, and at the beginning of next year for the PC.

It will continue the story of Assassin's Creed 2, as the main protagonist, Ezio Auditore, is tasked with defeating the evil Borgia family in Rome.

Standing out from the batch of new features are an array of multiplayer modes which will test out the skills of players in organized matches set around the game's world.

Does the short time period between the release of Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed 2 disturb you or are you among the people who already pre-ordered the new Ubisoft game?
