Apple's AirPlay technology is starting to become increasingly popular all over the world, more and more CE manufacturers implementing it within their various devices, this being also the case with Philips and one of their latest products, the Fidelio SoundSphere.

Recently unveiled within the company's yearly event from Barcelona, Spain, the new Fidelio SoundSphere docking speakers offer users not only very good quality audio, but also some fast and easy access to one's favorite music, coming directly via their iTunes account.

Those of you who're not quite familiar yet with the AirPlay technology should know that, without a doubt, this wireless music streaming tech will become the norm in the near future, given the fact that it will enable users to enjoy their favorite music just about wherever they might be, streamed directly from their PC, Mac or iOS device (any Internet-enabled device with access to the iTunes store, to be perfectly accurate).

Of course, the presence of a wireless home network is a pre-requisite, but this shouldn't be a problem in most modern households, where wireless Internet access has pretty much become the norm over the past coupe of years.

It's also interesting to mention that beside being quite easy on the ears, due to their high-quality drives, as well as special acoustic design (separate speakers with free-floating tweeters on top of both units), the Fidelio speakers will also provide some visual enchantment as well, given the fact that their sleek, attractive look will make them suitable for placement in just about any type of décor, no mater how classic of futuristic.

According to Philips, their Fidelio SoundSphere speakers are set to go on sale across Europe starting with May 2011, the estimated retail price for each of these Apple AirPlay compatible audio systems being set at an estimate 799 Euro.
