Report says singer is down to her last million

Earlier this year, reports had it that Amy Winehouse’s family was deeply concerned that soon to be former husband Blake Fielder-Civil would ask for a cut of her impressive estate, then estimated at £10 million – which he eventually did. However, even if Blake insists in his demand, it looks like Amy won’t have enough money to pay him, as she has squandered most of that fortune in as little as a year, the Daily Star says.

The report comes despite her parents’ repeated attempts to save her money. At one point, rumor even had it that she had agreed to surrender all control over her estate to her parents, who would take care of it until she successfully managed to overcome her drug and alcohol addiction. Either she didn’t or they had come too late, as Amy Winehouse is now worth only an estimated £1 million.

Sources tell the British tabloid that, in 2008, her 2006 album, “Back to Black,” was worth about £10 million. Now, following a couple of stints in rehab and a very long vacation in St. Lucia where she tried to kick her addictions (to little result), and a very careless and luxurious lifestyle, the British crooner is down to her last million. Having financial problems is not the issue here, the spies claim, but rather that she managed to spend this huge amount of money over such a short period of time – roughly a year.

To add insult to injury, it seems that her six-month stay in St. Lucia was in vain, if we’re to trust other reports in the media, as the singer is in danger of relapsing to drugs again. Just recently, mystic Peter Cletus Hippolyte was speaking to the tabloids, revealing that Winehouse had asked him to fly to the UK to help her with her addiction, just like he did while she was still living in St. Lucia. He, of course, obliged and went to offer her his assistance.

“I have healing hands and I talk to her and explain things to her. She’s a wonderful girl and she believes in me. We hug each other, we kiss each other and I put my hands on her shoulder. I tell her not to worry and we sing to each other. When I come to the UK, I will use my hands to help heal her and use my psychological healing to organize her mind. We will say prayers together and she will drink bush tea with antioxidants.” Hippolyte was saying a short while ago.
