“See what happens when you cancel Intervention?,” Rihanna fights back

For some reason known only to her, Amanda Bynes has picked a fight with Rihanna on Twitter, calling her names and even bringing up the 2009 incident in which her then- boyfriend Chris Brown beat her to a pulp.

Bynes has since deleted the offensive tweets, but TMZ has screencaps.

“@rihanna Chris Brown beat you because you're not pretty enough,” Amanda wrote, apparently without any provocation whatsoever on Rihanna’s part.

“@rihanna no one wants to be your love so you call everyone and their mother that I almost named my new dog Rihanna,” she added.

Rihanna chose to respond by hinting at the recent cancelation of the “Intervention” reality series by A&E and without mentioning Bynes by name.

It seems that her reaction only inflamed the former actress more, because she followed up her previous offenses with, “@rihanna unlike ur fugly faced self I don't do drugs! U need the intervention dog! I met ur ugly face in person! U aren't pretty u know it!”

While it’s not known what might have prompted such a vicious reaction from Amanda, those who have been keeping an eye on her these past several months must already know that she’s developed a “thing” from calling people “ugly” on the social networking website.

She did it before to other stars as well, picking on them for more or less imagined wrongs. Former glamor girl Jenny McCarthy can attest to that.

Late last week, Bynes was arrested in her New York apartment after someone called the cops because she was smoking weed in the lobby, as we also reported at the time.

When the officers arrived, she’d already gone up to her room, which they found filled with marijuana smoke, as per the police report.

One of the cops also spotted a bong, which Amanda then threw out the window.

She was charged with pot possession, reckless endangerment and tampering with evidence, but she was released on her own recognizance.
