Even as it busied itself with filling the consumer market with newer computers, Acer still managed to throw in a few things other than netbooks, DirectX 11 notebooks, ultrathin laptops and desktops. The H4 series of liquid crystal display monitors are among the most recent LCD releases. Those will exclusively cater to the needs of the PC market, however, which means that another product launch is needed in order to address the television front. Sure enough, Acer acted promptly and delivered, in Europe, the M0 series of LCD TVs.

No doubt some consumers have gotten accustomed to only seeing the rise of one or two displays at a time. Acer did not restrict itself to just that much though. In fact, the M0 line is already comprised o five distinct models. One has a screen size of 19 inches and is called M190HQDL. Two measure 20 inches and go by the names of M200HDL and M200HML. Finally, the M230HDL and M230HML, as their names imply, have screen sizes of 23 inches.

All the five newcomers have a glossy piano black finish and HDMI inputs, in addition to the D-Sub, Component and SCART. As for the specifications themselves, they seem to be more than decent enough to justify the prices of 219 to 319 Euro. To be more specific, the TVs' response time is of 5ms and the dynamic contrast ratio is 1,000,000:1. Built-in speakers are, naturally, present, as is a digital TV tuner. Finally, all members of the M0 line employ white LED backlighting.

The 19-inch display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, whereas the 20- and 23-inchers have 1600 x 900 and 1920 x 1080, respectively. As for pricing, they have tags that correspond to their individual traits. The M190HQDL costs 219 Euro, whereas the M200HDL and M200HML are priced at 259 and 269 Euro, respectively. Finally, the M230HDL sells for 309 Euro and the M230HML for 319.
