Sprint's prepaid carrier Boost Mobile has just announced the immediate availability of ZTE Warp Elite smartphone for just $180 outright.

Although it cost less than $200, ZTE Warp Elite is quite decent when it comes to specs. On top of that, the smartphone ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

When it comes to hardware, the Warp Elite is a mid-range smartphone. It comes with a decent 1.2GHz quad-core processor (possibly Qualcomm Snapdragon 410), 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. ZTE's smartphone comes with microSD card slot, so users can further expand storage up to 64GB.

Another strong point of the phone would be the large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating for extra protection.

On the back, the ZTE Warp Elite packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.

4G LTE, 3,000 mAh battery and quick charging technology

Connectivity-wise, the Warp Elite offers both 4G LTE and 3G data speeds, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, and GPS with AGPS support.

Last but not least, ZTE Warp Elite is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery which, according to the carrier, should provide up to 20 hours of talk time.

The phone's battery also features Quick Charging 1.0 technology within, allowing the ZTE Warp Elite to be charged even faster.

“The Warp Elite is Boost’s most feature-packed smartphone for under $200. Paired with one of our Data Boost Plans customers will receive a premium smartphone experience at a reasonable price, which is a perfect example of not having to sacrifice style and features for affordability,” said Angela Rittgers, vice president-Marketing, Boost Mobile.
