It looks like Chinese handset maker ZTE is making a push for the US market, as the company has just announced that its next flagship smartphone, the Nubia Z11, will be launched in China and the United States at the same time.

This is quite unusual for ZTE, which initially releases its flagship smartphones in China and then makes them available worldwide.

However, ZTE Nubia Z11 will be available for purchase in China and the United States at the same time, CNET reports. Unfortunately, no information on release date and prices has been announced yet.

The good news is we have all the details regarding some of the most important features ZTE Nubia Z11 has to offer when it comes to specs.

Different models will be launched in each market

First of all, the flagship smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm's 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 820 processor, which leads us to believe that the Nubia Z11 might not be available for purchase until early next year.

The powerful Snapdragon 820 processor is coupled with 4GB of RAM and no less than 128GB of internal memory. There's no mention of microSD card slot for the moment, but 128GB is quite enough storage even for heavy users.

We also know the Nubia Z11 sports a bezel-less 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection.

ZTE Nubia Z11 will use a 21-megapixel camera on the back, which should feature autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording. The phone will also pack an impressive 13-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls.

The upcoming flagship smartphone will also include a fingerprint scanner, and it will feature a metal body. ZTE also announced that it would launch slightly altered Nubia Z11 variants in each market.
