Sparklite is an action-adventure game that draws inspiration from smash hits like Zelda. Set in the whimsical land of Geodia, Sparklite promises to offer stunning visuals in the form of complex pixel art aesthetic inspired by retro classics.

The Zelda-inspired Sparklite has just received a release date, which isn't too far off - November 14. The game will launch for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in about two months from now.

In Sparklike, players will engage foes in top-down action using an arsenal of gadgets, guns, and gear. Moreover, the game lets players explore a diverse, procedurally-generated world in which they will have to overcome the titans of the mining industry and harness the power of Sparklite.

Besides fighting a wide range of enemy types, players must solve puzzles, fight and defeat bosses, as Sparklite combines elements of classic adventure titles such as The Legend of Zelda alongside a unique blend of approachable roguelike elements.

Everything in the world of Geoda is tied together by Sparklite, the life force of the planet. Those who live on the planet have learned how to channel it for their gain, as Sparklite can either be harnessed or consumed.

Anyway, if you played and liked games like Moonlighter, Stardew Valley, Iconoclasts and The Legend of Zelda, there's a high chance that you'll love the upcoming Sparklite.

Ahead of the release, publisher Merge Games is running a Steam Wishlist promotion to receive exclusive content ahead of launch. Since the game recently hit a new Wishlist mark of 15,000, Steam members will now be receiving a free demo ahead of release. The next mark is at 25,000 and awards a high-res wallpaper and a Sparklite Steam theme at 40,000. There's also a mystery gift that will unlock at 55,000, so check the game's Steam page for more information.
