14 DAY TRIAL // It's common knowledge that Samsung brands its smartphones twice, so most of the devices launched by the South Korean company come with one logo on the front and another one on the back.
Word has it the Galaxy S8 will follow the same pattern with a slight difference. The upcoming flagship could feature a much larger Samsung logo above or at the bottom of the display, though we believe it will be the former.
A couple of renders, more or less accurate, show a rather intrusive branding on the front side of the Galaxy S8. Unlike any of the previous smartphones Samsung launched until now, the Galaxy S8 will feature a bezel-less design, which will make the company's logo more invasive.
Don't get me wrong, this is common practice among smartphone makers, though not everyone has the same policy. For example, Samsung, LG and Huawei are doing it, but not Google, Motorola and HTC.
Design-wise, these logos aren't intrusive in most of the cases, but the latest leaked pictures of the Galaxy S8 suggest Samsung is going to stamp its flagship smartphone with a very large logo on the front side.
Those of you who have previously used slightly older Verizon-branded smartphones will have a dejavu feeling when seeing the pictures of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S8.
Once in a while, the carrier would put its own big logo on the front side of a flagship smartphone, in addition to the logo of the handset manufacturer.
It looked absolutely ridiculous and many customers complained over the years about Verizon's decision to make these wonderful smartphones look ugly.
Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, we ask you to voice your opinion on the matter. Would you purchase the Galaxy S8 even if it comes with a big, ugly Samsung logo stamped on the front side, or not?
