Lumia 650 is one of the latest (and possibly the last) phones launched by Microsoft, running Windows 10 Mobile, and coming with mid-range specs and a premium design that makes it look kind of exquisite.

But as far as the price is concerned, the Lumia 650 isn’t really the most affordable phone out there, with the Microsoft Store currently selling the unlocked version for no less than $199.

Fortunately, there are several ways to get this phone substantially cheaper, and Cricket Wireless customers are provided with a truly special offer these days.

Cricket is currently offering the certified pre-owned Microsoft Lumia 650 for just $0.99 with activation, which is undoubtedly one of the lowest prices for a Windows phone ever.

Lumia 650 comes with pretty good specs, and even though it’s not as powerful as the flagship 950 or 950 XL, the device is definitely worth a try if you’re committed to Windows 10 Mobile.

First and foremost, the phone comes with a 5.0-inch screen with 720x1280 pixel resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection for scratches and hits. The processor is a Snapdragon 212 quad-core chip clocked at 1.3 GHz and paired to 1GB RAM, enough to run Windows 10 Mobile smoothly, though there’s no doubt that 2GB RAM would have come in handier.

As far as storage goes, the Lumia 650 is available with 16GB, but also with microSD card support to boost capacity up to 256GB.

In terms of cameras, you get a main unit with 8 megapixels and LED flash, plus a secondary one with 5 megapixels for selfies and video calls.

The standard connectivity package is offered as well, including microUSB for charging and data transfers, a headphone jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC. And last but not least, there’s a removable li-ion 2,000 mAh battery that should easily get you through the day, obviously with performance varying by usage patterns.
