How much are you willing to spend for the new iPhone?

The iPhone X will launch officially on November 3 with prices to start at $999 for the base model, but given the limited supply, it’s expected that only a few buyers will actually be able to get their hands on this device on day one.

With first batches to be restricted to only a few markets, buyers worldwide have basically zero chances to secure an iPhone X when it launches in early November, unless they are ready to spend a ton of money in this regard. And when we say a ton of money, we really mean it.

The iPhone X is being sold on eBay, which is basically the main destination for people living outside the United States who can’t wait any longer for the device and want to buy it on the first day, but prices go way beyond your imagination.

$6,000 and you get your iPhone X

For example, this iPhone X with 256GB storage, which normally sells for $1,149 at Apple, can be yours in early November for $6,000 if you don’t want to bid against other hungry Apple fanboys worldwide.

There are several cheaper alternatives though. This iPhone X, also with 256GB storage, is being sold on eBay for $3,500, and if you search a little bit more, you can find another model that can be yours for $3,200.

Depending on how much time you spend searching for iPhone X units on eBay you could also come across substantially cheaper listings that will only set you back some $2,000, though the closer we get to the official launch of the device, the lower the chances to find an available unit.

All these high prices do nothing more than to confirm the huge interest in Apple’s new iPhone, but at the same time, they are also living proof that Cupertino is more or less likely to cause frustration in its community with a super-limited initial supply. According to analysts, production should increase in November, which means that more units should become available in December and January.
