Some of you might remember that Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was launched back in November, but the smartphone was only available in China.

The good news is the Chinese company has just announced it will bring the Redmi Note 3 to India on March 3. The smartphone will be officially introduced in the country next week, and the first 1,000 attendees who successfully register at the event will receive a free goodie bag.

Although Xiaomi did not share any details regarding price, customers in India might be able to grab the Redmi Note 3 for around Rs 12-13,000 outright.

The Redmi Note 3 is a decent high-end smartphone and should be pretty popular in India if Xiaomi puts it on sale for a low price, as mentioned earlier.

If you plan on getting the Redmi Note 3 as soon as it becomes available on the market, here are some of the phone's most important specs.

Xiaomi included a 1.8 hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor inside, which is paired with 3GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of storage.

No microSD card inside the phone, but massive 4,000 mAh battery

The bad news is the Redmi Note 3 does not come with microSD card slot for memory expansion, so you're left with the default storage which is much lower than the amount mentioned earlier.

On the bright side, the Redmi Note 3 features a full metal body, so there won't be any cheap feelings when handling the device.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with a 16-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features phase detection autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. Furthermore, Xiaomi added a fingerprint scanner right below the camera and LED flash, on the back side.

The high-end smartphone sports a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. Also, it packs a massive 4,000 mAh battery and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top.

It also offers dual-SIM and 4G LTE support. Keep in mind that while LTE connectivity will work on either of the SIM slots, you won't be able to use LTE at the same time on both SIM cards. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, and IR blaster are included too.
