Chinese company Xiaomi is expected to launch its new flagship smartphone, the Mi5, in less than a month. Also, the Mi5 will be available for purchase in China soon after the official announcement, but there is little information on its price.

The good news is that at least one Chinese retailer has listed the Xiaomi Mi5 on its website with a price tag attached to it. GearBest now allows customers to register their email address to be notified when the Mi5 is available for pre-order.

It's also worth mentioning that two versions of the smartphone are listed at GearBest, so depending on which model customers want, they will be able to get the Xiaomi Mi5 16GB for $625 or the Xiaomi Mi5 64GB model for around $730.

Both listings at GearBest contain details about Xiaomi Mi5's specs, but they might not be 100% accurate since the information is based on the rumor mill.

We've also noticed that the only difference between the two models listed at GearBest is the amount of storage: 16GB and 64GB.

Amount of storage is the only difference between the two models

Previous rumors claimed Xiaomi planned to launch a cheaper Mi5 variant that would sport a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display supporting full HD (1080p) resolution, as well as a more expensive version that would come with a 5-inch display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

Although Xiaomi Mi5 will be initially launched in China, we expect the flagship smartphone to be rolled out globally in the weeks following its announcement.

Fortunately, most Chinese retailers offer free shipping to anywhere in the world, and prices are usually lower than in other countries. The same goes for GearBest, so you won't have to worry about shipping charges.

Naturally, depending on your location, you will have to pay for customs fees, which, in some cases, will be too high to make it worth the investment.
