Xiaomi is readying yet another affordable Android smartphone, which is likely to become very popular in countries like China and India, as many of the company's other handsets.

The unannounced Xiaomi Mi 4c has been spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, about three weeks ago, which means the smartphone should be made official very soon.

Today, another hint at a possible release of the Mi 4c in the form of a listing at Chinese retailer Oppomart. This is the online store of another Chinese handset maker, Oppo, which is selling some of the most popular smartphones launched by Chinese companies.

Xiaomi Mi 4c is still listed at Oppomart with a price tag of $230, which might or might not be the final price of the smartphone.

Many times, the placeholders don't seem to be too accurate, but there's a chance that the Mi 4c will indeed cost no more than $230.

That makes it a good deal since it comes with a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor inside, complemented by an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

It will sell unlocked and SIM-free

Also, Xiaomi Mi 4c sports a more than decent 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and 438ppi (pixel per inch).

On the back, the upcoming smartphone packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.

The Mi 4c comes with 16GB of internal memory, but there's no mention of microSD card slot. Since the smartphone offers dual-SIM support, there's the possibility that one of the slots could be used for the memory card.

Speaking of connectivity, Xiaomi Mi 4c offers 4G LTE support, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS support.

Last but not least, the Mi 4c is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and should come preloaded with Android 5.1 operating system out of the box, along with MIUI 7 on top of it.
