The Mi 4c is Xiaomi's next mid-range Android smartphone with high-end specs, as many handset makers like to advertise their products.

The Chinese company has quite a few products lined up for launch by the end of this year, and the Mi 4c is one of these devices.

Today, the company's CEO, Lin Bin, has confirmed that the Mi 4c will be officially unveiled on September 22, XiaomiToday reports.

This isn't the first time we hear that the smartphone will be launched on that date, but it's the first time one of the company's officials confirms the information.

We also know that the Xiaomi Mi 4c has already been listed at Oppomart with a $235 price tag attached to it, but we expect the smartphone to go on sale in China for much less.

It could go on sale on October 3

Still, if Xiaomi decides to make the Mi 4c available in other countries too, which will most likely happen pretty soon after unveil, then Oppomart's price could be the most accurate.

That being said, let's take a look at what Xiaomi Mi 4c has to offer in terms of specs. First of all, the smartphone is said to come preloaded with the Android Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

Xiaomi Mi 4c will be equipped with a powerful hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, which will be complemented by either 2GB or 3GB of RAM.

Apparently, the Chinese company will launch two Mi 4c models based on the amount of RAM. The price mentioned earlier is for the 2GB version, so the other one will be slightly more expensive.

Both versions of the Xiaomi Mi 4c will pack USB Type-C port and 16GB of internal memory, but there's no mention of microSD card slot for storage expansion yet.

We also know that the smartphone will be powered by a 3,080 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer. An infrared port will be included in Mi 4c as well.
