Xiaomi has officially launched the all-new Smart Band 7 in global markets, only a few weeks after the device got to see the market in China.

The new Xiaomi Smart Band 7 comes with massive upgrades, including a larger AMOLED panel that measures 1.62 inches. With a resolution of 490x192 pixels, the screen also supports Always-On Display, which means certain details would stay on even when you’re not looking at the display.

Needless to say, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 continues to be a device that’s primarily aimed at activity tracking, so it can monitor over 110 workouts. One of the best things, however, is the support for automatic detection, which means users wouldn’t have to manually start the tracking when beginning the workout.

The device comes with 5 ATM water resistance and can obviously tracking swimming as well.

At this point, this is a feature that’s missing on several high-profile trackers, including Garmin’s smartwatches and the Apple Watch.

Needless to say, the Xiaomi Band 7 also comes with heart-rate tracking, stress monitoring, as well as SpO2 tracking. The device can also issue warnings when the blood oxygen levels drop below 90%, as this is considered the threshold that may indicate certain affections.

Xiaomi has been working on enhancing the smart capabilities of the Band as well, so this new version also comes with NFC support for payments. For the time being, however, this feature is only available in China, as it’s only part of a dedicated tracker equipped with NFC.

Worldwide, the Mi Band 7 will be sold in several colors, including orange, blue, black, olive, and pink, with two more special versions coming in neon and camouflage patterns.

Just like its predecessors, the Xiaomi Band 7 is rather cheap, so it’s priced at just 59.99 Euros. Customers who order the device today, however, are offered a special price of 49.99 Euros.
