Xiaomi is busy working on the upcoming Mi 5s, which is said to be announced just two days from now. Specs and even renders of the smartphone have been leaking for some time now, and it seems that Xiaomi’s CEO even posted camera samples to his Weibo account, according to GizmoChina.

A total of five images were posted online by the official, one of them showing an iceberg photographed using the Xiaomi Mi 5s. The smartphone clearly does a good job at capturing even the smallest details found in amazing landscapes.

We must admit that the photos are truly spectacular, as they should be considering that the smartphone is rumored to come with dual camera setup with 16MP and 4 axis optical image stabilization and 6P lens with PDAF focus.

Xiaomi Mi 5s could come with Snapdragon 821 SoC and 6GB of RAM

Recently leaked specs for the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5s revealed that the smartphone could run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with MIUI 8 on top. It could be powered by a Snapdragon 821 SoC and carry a quad-core 2.35GHz CPU, coupled with Adreno 530 graphics processing unit. Many rumors have pointed to Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner which might be embedded under the glass of Xiaomi Mi 5s. Battery capacity could reach 3,490 mAh on the premium model and 3,410 mAh on the standard variant.

The smartphone could also feature NFC and support for mobile payment service Mi Pay. Two variants of the phone could be released, one that might be priced at $300 and the premium model, Mi 5s Plus, which could go for $450. The unveiling date is set for September 27 for both variants.
