Paradise Lost is the name of the upcoming game from Polish developer PolyAmorous, a post-apocalyptic adventure told through the eyes of a youngster who roams a world devastated by nuclear war. In Paradise Lost, World War II never ended and the Nazis managed to occupy Poland by carrying out a nuclear attack after 20 years of war.

As the title says, Paradise Lost is a mystery adventure game, in which players will step into the shoes of a 12-year-old boy who finds a mysterious Nazi bunker while roaming a post-nuclear Polish wasteland.

Along with the reveal of their new game, the folks at PolyAmorous released a teaser trailer and a dozen screenshots that offer players a glimpse into a post-apocalyptic world, explaining how Europe became a barren wasteland. This isn't your average teaser trailer though, so prepare for a nice surprise watching Paradise Lost's reveal.

In Paradise Lost, players will be able to explore a vast, underground world in which unusual and advanced technology is mixed with Slavic folklore and myths. As you roam the wasteland, you will discover clues that will tell you what fate its inhabitants met and find out whether or not a new world can be born from the ashes of the old one.

More importantly, Paradise Lost does feature a decision system that can influence the outcome, much like many of the story-driven RPGs out there. According to developers, the decisions you make while learning the bunker’s history will affect what you will see on your journey.

Unfortunately, the game doesn't have a release date yet, but we do know Paradise Lost will be released on PC (via Steam) in 2020. A console version might be launched as well, but there's no ETA available yet. Until we have more details about release and price, fans of the adventure genre can wishlist Paradise Lost on Steam right now.
