World at Arms is not a new game, but it's one of the most popular mobile games launched by Gameloft on Windows Phone platform.

Since the release of World at Arms back in 2013, the tech behind mobile games has been improved quite a lot. That's one of the reasons Gameloft has decided to enhance some of the game's graphics with the recent update.

According to Gameloft, players should expect quite an improvement with the new update, such as enhanced visual effects: lights, water, explosions, smoke and much more.

Developers have also confirmed World at Arms has been improved with completely new graphics for all units, builds, and terrains, which is no small feat.

There are also new environment reflections and real-time pixel lightning, but also high-resolution images.

Furthermore, new ground, air and underwater battle terrains have been added. Also, ground and underwater bases have been reworked and now feature new building and terrain textures.

A strategy game with a deep single-player campaign

World at Arms is a strategy game that allows multiplayer play. You will battle across the globe, in the sea's depths, on the ground, and in the air, in the game's solo campaign, but also in an exciting multiplayer mode.

The free war simulation game includes some social network features that allow players to find allies and concoct devious battle plans. World at Arms features leaderboards as well, so you can make your name known by challenging rivals and stealing their resources.

If you don't have the game, you can now download World at Arms for Windows Phone for free via Windows Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8.1 and up.

Keep in mind that while the game is available for free, it features in-app purchases. So, if you don't want to spend real money, you can disable this feature from your device's settings.
