Microsoft has rolled out Windows 10 build 14361 for PC and mobile earlier today, and in addition to features that we’ve already detailed in our original article, this new release also brings a plethora of fixes and improvements on smartphones.

It’s worth mentioning from the very beginning that this build is part of the fast ring, so yes, there still are bugs, and no, you’re not supposed to install it on your main phone.

But despite these warnings, Windows 10 Mobile build 14361 seems a pretty neat build, and the list of fixes is impressive, to say the least.

Bug fixes and known issues

First and foremost, this new build addresses freezes experienced when touching the screen immediately after enabling Narrator, but also that weird bug bringing up a grey bar on the left side of the Edge browser all of a sudden.

For those who use the notification center a lot, there’s something very exciting. Microsoft says that it polished the dismissal model, so now “if you receive and dismiss multiple interactive notifications in a row, the black transparent background will not start fading away between them.”

There are plenty of fixes here too, including for dismissing notifications with a hero image, but you can check the full list in the box below after the jump.

Unfortunately, some issues are still being experienced in this build, including that frustrating problem causing cellular data not to work correctly on some dual-SIM devices. Microsoft says that it’s still investigating this and will provide a fix very soon.

At the same time, the Quick Action icons might be rearranged after installing this build, so you have to return to your previous layout manually. And additionally, the cross-device Cortana support that offers notifications on your PC might not work after updating, but restarting the phone should help.

It goes without saying that some other issues here and there might also be experienced, but make sure to report them to Microsoft because this is the purpose of the Insider program in the first place.
