The device shows up on British retailer website

One of the biggest changes that Windows 10 Mobile will bring when it debuts, in just a few weeks, is support for Continuum, a new feature that Microsoft developed to make a phone running this new OS become a fully featured PC that can be used with a mouse and keyboard.

It's all possible through the so-called Continuum adapter, which allows a Windows 10 Mobile device to connect to a monitor and thus act just like any traditional PC, with its screen becoming the desktop that you can work on in the traditional way.

With approximately one week left until the debut of the new Lumias and the Continuum adapter, the latter has made it to the web, as retailers across the world are getting ready to start taking pre-orders for the device.

WMPU spotted the Continuum adapter on MobileFun, a British retailer that's currently listing the device without a price (it's believed it will cost somewhere around $100 though).

“Turn your Windows Mobile device into a desktop computer”

The description published by the online retailer doesn't reveal anything new, but it does reiterate what Microsoft said before when it introduced the Continuum adapter for the first time.

“Own a Windows 10 Mobile or later device and wish you could turn it into a computer? Well look no further as the Microsoft Continuum hub allows you to turn your phone into a desktop computer to use all of your favourite apps without the need to carry a laptop with you.”

Continuum will make its first public appearance for consumers on October 6 at Microsoft's hardware event in New York, with sales and deliveries expected to start in November, when the new Lumia devices that will support it will also hit the shelves.

Pricing shouldn't exceed $100 and the adapter should be compatible with all new devices launching with Windows 10 Mobile, but Microsoft is yet to confirm this. For the moment, the only thing we know is that flagship devices, such as the Lumia 950 and 950 XL will certainly work with it.
