14 DAY TRIAL // The latest version of macOS Sierra brings support for Windows 10 Creators Update, finally allowing Apple users to install the most recent Windows 10 release with Boot Camp on their devices.
Windows 10 Creators Update was officially released by Microsoft on April 5 as a manual download via the Update Assistant and on April 11 on Windows Update, with the latter obviously being the preferred option because it prevents compatibility issues and other problems that might be experienced when upgrading.
The Windows Update rollout, however, is taking place in stages, and devices are getting it only when Microsoft addresses known problems.
Apple users weren’t previously allowed to download and install the Windows 10 Creators Update in Boot Camp for the very same reason, and the company had to address a number of issues before making it widely available for its users.
macOS Sierra 10.12.5 is the one that includes support for Windows 10 Creators Update, so Apple users need to first update their systems to this version and then download the official ISOs provided by Microsoft.

In addition, the latest version of macOS Sierra also introduces support for more digital camera RAW formats and enhances the compatibility of the Mac App Store with future software updates.
There are also several fixes, including for an issue causing audio to stutter when played through USB headphones, while also addressing a bug that led to the system date to be set to the year 2040.
As far as the Creators Update is concerned, Microsoft says that adoption is improving at a fast pace, even though it’s not yet available for everyone via Windows Update. Without a doubt, the most eager users installed it with the Update Assistant, but Microsoft strongly recommends against it, pointing out that beginners could come across major bugs severely impacting the experience with the OS.
