New ISOs up for grabs for Windows insiders

As Microsoft promised when it released Windows 10 build 15025 to insiders a few days ago, new ISOs are now available for download, allowing users to perform a clean install or simply to start from scratch either in a virtual machine or on their PCs.

Given the fact that Microsoft officially kicks off another bug bash today, it’s kind of critical for users to make sure that they’re running a clean version of the operating system that’s not suffering from any other bug, so these ISOs are supposed to come in handy to many participants in the Insider program.

The Windows 10 build 15025 ISOs are available in five different versions, as it follows: the Home version, Enterprise, Education, Home Single Language, and Home China. Both x64 and x86 ISOs are offered to users.

Last build with new features?

While this build should indeed come in handy to users in order to diagnose bugs and send feedback to the company, it’s important to know that this is one of the last, if not the last, Windows 10 Creators Update preview build coming with new features.

Previously, people with knowledge of the matter said that Windows 10 Creators Update was supposed to be feature-locked by the end of January, and with the bug bash kicking off today, there’s a good chance that this is indeed the plan.

Once a Windows 10 version reaches this stage, Microsoft puts the focus entirely on fixing bugs and improving performance, so no new features would be added before the final bits are shipped to users.

In the case of the Creators Update, stable Windows 10 users should get the final release in April, so the company still has a few months to repair the bugs that insiders report these days.

Shortly after the release of the Creators Update, Microsoft’s Windows 10 team should start working on the next OS update internally codenamed Redstone 3 and projected to launch in the fall of 2017.
