14 DAY TRIAL // Xiaomi hasn't yet launched its smartphones in the United States, but the Chinese company has repeatedly stated it plans to enter this market at some point.
The most recent product launched by Xiaomi in the United States, the Mi Box, is meant to provide the company with information about this very competitive market.
Since Xiaomi plans to enter the US market in the future, it makes perfect sense for the Chinese company not to miss the opportunity to launch new products at one of the largest technology showrooms, Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The trade fair is set to kick off on January 5 and it will end on January 8, but during the 3-day exhibition many handset makers will reveal their latest creations.
Xiaomi is one of the companies that plans to unveil new products at CES 2017, and while we don't know what the Chinese company has in store for us, a teaser might offer us a hint.
Perhaps the Mi Mix will be introduced in the US as well
The black colored teaser has a single word written on it, which doesn't make sense at first glance: WBHLIATCEK. Upon further inspection, it becomes clear that the bold letters form the word “white,” while the rest of the letters combine to form another word, “black.”
Now, as many of you probably know by now, Xiaomi launched a mind-blowing smartphone back in October, the Mi Mix. The ceramic-made phablet is available in China only. On top of that, customers don't have too many options when it comes to colors, as the Mi Mix is only available in black.
Previous rumors claimed the Chinese company might launch a white version of the Mi Mix, but an ETA hasn't been provided. Well, it might be that Xiaomi's teaser suggests the handset maker is ready to unveil the white version of the Mi Mix.
Either way, we're going to find out more in just a few days since the teaser points out to a launch event on January 5, 2017.
