14 DAY TRIAL // WhatsApp Desktop is the most convenient way to chat with your contacts on WhatsApp straight from your PC, and fortunately, the parent company keeps improving the app with bug fixes and new features every once in a while.
The most recent update is version 0.2.2243 and includes several new goodies that will certainly come in handy for desktop users, including a search feature for conversations. With this new option, you can search for a specific message in a conversation, in addition to the search feature that was already available for chats and contacts.
There are also some minor UI improvements and refinements here and there, as well as new emoji. Some people have also claimed that the new WhatsApp Desktop includes a button to select and share animated GIFs, but this feature doesn’t seem to be available in this version, though.
WhatsApp Desktop seems to be working quite smoothly after the update, and although these new changes are certainly welcome, they might be really unnoticeable to those who are only using the app for chatting and nothing more.
