Palm's latest operating system called webOS had great potential since its launch. Unfortunately, a series of bugs and flaws prevented it to become a successful OS. Even though the smartphones running the webOS already received a series of updates, it seems that it remained “an OS with potential,” that still hasn't reached maturity

For those of you that had the pleasure of using a Palm smartphone running webOS, here are some tips and tricks that could make your life easier, and who knows, maybe it will turn you into a power webOS user.

Forwarding texts with Palm Pre is very easy if you know where to look. The option is not included in any menus, so you will have to tap the conversation part you want to forward and a small menu will be displayed on the screen, which contains three available options: Forward, Copy text and Delete.

In case you want to copy an entire conversation for a later review, simply click on the Edit menu of the messaging area and choose the Copy All option.

While you type a message and wish to delete a certain word or more, there's an easy way to do it, simply press and hold the Shift key and click the Backspace button.

Palm Pre's calendar is one of the most advanced mobile calendar, but it also features some minor bugs. To delete one of the events you created quickly, you will have to press and hold the orange key and click on that event.

The camera on the back of the smartphone can be used to take pictures by using the Spacebar key. Also, if you press and hold the Spacebar key, it will act like a quick shutter, and you will be able to take more pictures at only 1 second apart.

Feel free to add more of these tips, especially if you're an advanced webOS user.
