Warner Bros. seems to be giving up on the Batman: Arkham Knight PC port, and the publisher has released a statement saying that anyone who wants a refund will get it.

The Batman: Arkham Knight PC port has been encountering problems since its initial release. The publisher pulled it from sale with the promise of repairing it, and Warner Bros. has recently re-released it with some fixes. It turns out that people are still having problems with it, and now they’ve taken some extra steps.

The forums and comment sections on Steam are once again flooded with comments from users who are saying that nothing has been fixed and that the game is still poorly optimized. The truth is that some changes have been made to the game, and there are many more options for users to choose from, but too many people are having problems.

Refunds are on the house

Warner Bros. has issued a statement on Steam saying that it will honor any kind of refunds that will be requested until the end of the year.

"Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product. You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately). For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix," writes Warners Bros..

Most of the users have understood this message as giving up, and they also don't like the phrase "issues that we cannot fix." This sounds strange coming from the developers, and it's not something that usually happens.

There were some issues with the refunding system, but it looks like they've been repaired. If the comments are any indication, they are going to be hit by a lot of refund requests.
