Taylor brought her Girl Squad as date, paid for everything

Taylor Swift owned the MTV VMAs 2015, held on Sunday in Los Angeles, not only because she won the most awards in the major categories but also because she managed to keep everyone’s attention focused on her and her Girl Squad. She was, according to a report, the mean girl Regina George from the 2004 cult movie would have been proud of.

Taylor ordered her friends around, telling them how to behave and how much fun to have, she banned Ariana Grande and her brother from a party, and she mean girled Miley Cyrus with some help from BFF Selena Gomez.

Taylor is the ultimate mean girl

After the VMAs, Taylor and her Girl Squad, which she’d brought as her date for the night and whose expenses she covered in full, attended the Republic Records party at Ysabel in West Hollywood, Radar Online says.

The moment they stepped inside, Taylor acted like the boss: she ordered one friend to put her phone away when she thought she’d already spent too much time on it on social media, and she made sure to tell bouncers not to let Ariana Grande and her brother near her table, among other things.

Ariana, the report continues, tried several times to make her way to the table, initially thinking that the ban only referred to her brother. Eventually, she had to accept the fact that Taylor didn’t want her on her Girl Squad.

The party moved at Taylor’s house afterwards, where everybody changed into more comfortable clothes - and the mean girling continued.

Selena Gomez is just as bad, apparently

The main topic of conversation at the after-afterparty was Miley’s hosting gig, her ridiculous fashion choices and her performance, which was the world premiere of the track “Dooo It,” from her album “Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz.”

Miley’s entire night, from her outfits to her jokes and her “accidental” flashing the camera was deemed “obnoxious and annoying,” while the song was dissected and discarded as a piece of trash.

Radar says that Selena Gomez was the most critical of Miley, but Taylor came close behind.

“I can’t believe we used to be friends,” Selena was reportedly heard saying. “I should’ve reached out that night she cut her hair and posted the pic on Twitter.”

The good news for Miley is that she has zero interest of being part of Taylor’s Girl Squad, as she told the NYT in an interview last week. She thinks Taylor’s almost desperate attempt to surround herself with famous friends (singers, actresses and models) is a cry for attention.

Miley prefers to surround herself with “real people” because that’s where she gets her inspiration from, and that means they must not be famous.
