Vivo is a less-known Chinese OEM, but its smartphones make headlines from time to time. One such device is the X6, which is likely to be unveiled in the next couple of weeks.

The X6 is a flagship smartphone, and Vivo has teased quite a few details about its upcoming device. Still, we get more information from TENAA, as the handset has recently received the Chinese regulatory commission's certification.

Several pictures of the Vivo X6 have been listed at TENAA as well, so we know what the phone looks like before the Chinese company makes it official.

According to the listing at TENAA, the X6 flaunts a huge 6-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, which will be protected by 2.5D curved glass.

It will come with force touch technology

Under the hood, Vivo X6 packs a powerful 64-bit deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor, coupled with no less than 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

The phablet comes preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but it would have been nice if Vivo had added Android 6.0 Marshmallow instead.

When it comes to connectivity, Vivo X6 is an all-rounder. The flagship smartphone comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with AGPS, microUSB 2.0, and dual-SIM support.

On the back, Vivo X6 features an impressive 21-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash, autofocus, and 4K video recording, whereas, on the front, there's a no less impressive 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The X6 will be powered by a high-capacity 4,000 mAh battery and should be available in Rose Gold, Silver and Gold color options. Rumor has it that Vivo X6 will be announced by the end of November, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
