Vivo V1 and V1 Max are not yet available in other countries, so customers in India will be the first to get their hands on these smartphones, which should go on sale by the end of July. For the time being, there is no info on the availability of these V series smartphones outside India.

Dual-SIM and 4G LTE support is included on both

According to Vivo, the V1 and V1 Max will be in the “normal” size class and phablet space. The V1 Max will come with a larger display, but the rest of the specs might be the same for both smartphones.

Speaking of which, Vivo V1 has been confirmed to ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, along with FunTouch OS on top.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. On the back, the V1 packs a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while on the front, there's a secondary 5-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Vivo V1 will be powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 306 graphics processing unit and 2GB RAM.
