Experiment rules that women are moody because they’re always in pain from their high heels, is only partially right

One of the editors at BroBible risked public ridicule and seriously injuring himself in order to understand “why women won’t stop complaining about wearing high heels.” Like a brave man, he bought a pair of heels and decreed he would wear them for an entire day to work, as he’d go through his usual activities.

As you can see from the video embedded below, today’s suggestion for Viral of the Day, he probably started on the assumption that wearing high heels (and living through the day to tell the story, obviously) wasn’t that much of a big deal.

He didn’t even make it out of his apartment building before he understood how wrong he’d been, because he was already in excruciating pain.

The editor chose a pair of strappy black sandals that, to be honest, aren’t even among the highest heels out there. And I’m not even considering those insane platforms Lady Gaga is so fond of, just day-wear high heels.

Still, he barely made it through the day, but not before he was mocked by passers-by, followed by strangers and even approached by some directly. Even worse than all this attention was the pain, so he called the experiment done at 7 o’clock in the evening and decreed that women had the worst fate in the world for having to suffer through this.

Again, you see, he’d have a considerably less unpleasant experience if he’d done his research: the first thing that stands out in this video is the fact that he’s not walking right in those shoes. He’s not placing his weight on his heels, and this puts pressure on his knees and causes pain.

He could have also used silicone inserts to cushion certain areas of the foot and make the walking less painful. Then again, if he’d done all this, where would the fun have been?

Check it out.
