14 DAY TRIAL // In theory, Paradox's highly-anticipated Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 should be out this year. However, the game doesn't have a release date yet beyond 2020, and it's already been delayed a couple of times for various reasons.
Truth be told, the previous gameplay demos that Paradox showcased last year at E3 were pretty awful. Well, it seems that developer Hardsuit Labs has taken all feedback to heart and improved not just the graphics, but also the animations as well.
During the Inside Xbox event, Paradox and Hardsuit Labs have revealed a brand-new trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, a game that will not only come to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but also to next-generation consoles too.
Apart from releasing the “Come Dance” trailer, Paradox confirmed that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will support Smart Delivery, which means that players who purchase the game on Xbox One will also receive a copy of the game for Xbox Series X at no additional cost.
More importantly, the game will feature cross-generation character saves across Xbox consoles, which means that players who start Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 on Xbox One and upgrade to an Xbox Series X later on, will be able to continue from where they left off.
“We know there are a lot of Xbox gamers looking forward to Bloodlines 2, and with Smart Delivery, you won’t have to worry about choosing between Xbox One or Xbox Series X versions of our vampire RPG,” said Florian Schwarzer, Senior Product Manager for Bloodlines 2.
For those unfamiliar with the game, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is an RPG set in the World of Darkness universe. Bloodlines 2 is all about vampire society, competing factions, and fascinating characters, so if you're into these kinds of games, you might want to pick this one up when it's out later this year (hopefully).
