Developed and published by Wadjet Eye Games, Unavowed is one of the best point & click adventure games we've reviewed here at Softpedia. Featuring an exceptional story, deep characterization, and light RPG elements, Unavowed is a must-play for all fans of the adventure games genre.

In a surprise move this week, Wadjet Eye Games revealed that their latest masterpiece is now available on Nintendo Switch. Not only that, but those who purchase the game until July 14 will benefit from a 10% discount, so they'll only pay $13.5 for Unavowed. It's important to mention that Unavowed is Wadjet Eye Games' first foray into console territory.

Unavowed is not a traditional adventure game in the sense that puzzle solutions change based on your party's skills. Also, the game features multiple origin stories and endings, which makes it a replayable adventure that's equally enjoyable from your couch in console mode or on the go in handheld mode if you decide to get the Switch version.

In Unavowed, players get to choose a male or female protagonist featuring three playable origin stories. The game has a total of four companion characters to choose from, each with their own talents and abilities. Not to mention that Unavowed benefits from top-notch voice acting and an exceptional soundtrack.

Unavowed plays and feels like a typical fantasy novel where the protagonist and their companions solve cases that involve the supernatural. However, Unavowed doesn't only provide players with a solid story but also delivers a few major twists.

If you're not convinced that the game is worth $15, then know that Unavowed was highly acclaimed when it launched on PC and Mac and was the winner of Adventure Gamers' 2018 Game of the Year award. Also, it was nominated for the IGF's Excellence in Narrative award and ranked #11 on Metacritic's PC Games of the Year list with an 87% review score average.
