Acer has just announced the upgraded Swift 14, and just as expected, the company focused specifically on the hardware side of the device for a new-generation experience offered to customers.

While the Swift 14 continues to be the kind of device that impresses in terms of build quality, as it still uses a unibody chassis made from aluminum, as well as an OceanGlass touchpad, customers should be happy to hear that Intel’s 13th Gen H-series processors are now the ones in charge of putting everything in motion under the hood.

“The notebooks are also integrated with Intel Unison allowing users to collaborate across different operating systems on the most vital productivity functions. The Swift 14’s impressive thermal solutions feature an air inlet design that pairs with Acer’s TwinAir dual-fan system and D6 copper heat pipes to increase airflow that keeps the systems cool,” Acer said in a press release published at CES.

The displays are also setting the Swift 14 apart from the crowd.

The device can be ordered with either WQXGA (2560x1600) or WUXGA (1920x1200), both available on 14-inch touchscreens making the most of Windows 11.

Needless to say, given the Windows 11 optimizations, the new Acer laptops also come with all the bells and whistles of the operating system, including support for Windows Hello.

“The [screens are] covered with durable Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass to boost durability, provide scratch resistance, and prevent the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria. Hybrid employees, remote workers and students on the go will enjoy conferences, classes, and video chats with the Swift 14’s 1440p QHD webcam with TNR technology, Acer PurifiedVoice and dual speakers enhanced with DTS Audio,” Acer said.

The new Swift 14 will go on sale in EMEA markets this month, and it will cost 1,699 EUR. In North America, it is projected to hit the shelves in March, starting at $1,399.
