14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft kicked off Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL pre-orders last week and informed customers that the smartphones wouldn't arrive until early December.
Today, major UK retailer Carphone Warehouse has started to take pre-orders for both Windows 10 smartphones.
Customers who have already pre-ordered their Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL handsets from Microsoft Store will probably be quite upset to know that the authorized reseller offers better prices on these smartphones.
For example, the Lumia 950 is now available for pre-order at Carphone Warehouse for just £420 (€595 / $640) outright while Microsoft Store offers the smartphone for no less than £450 (€635 / $685).
The same goes for the Lumia 950 XL, which can be had at Carphone Warehouse for £470 (€665 / $715), whereas Microsoft Store has the phone on pre-order for £530 (€750 / $805).
Both smartphones ship by December 3
The differences are quite high, especially when it comes to Lumia 950 XL which is £60 (€85 / $90) cheaper at Carphone Warehouse.
The UK retailer also offers additional purchase options for customers who can't afford the outright price.
Microsoft Lumia 950 is available for pre-order for no upfront cost from £32 per month. On the other hand, Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is up on pre-order for £0 down from £35 per month.
According to Carphone Warehouse, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL pre-order deliveries are expected to happen by December 3. This means that customers could even get their Windows 10 smartphones by the end of this month if the retailer manages to secure the stock very soon.
Last but not least, customers have the option to choose between black and white color options for both high-end Lumia smartphones.
There doesn't seem to be any free accessories in the sale package, which is probably one of the reasons Carphone Warehouse has cheaper prices on Lumia 950 XL.
