Ubisoft teased the launch of its new Rayman Adventures mobile game last month. Today, the French game publisher and developer announced that Rayman Adventures is available for download on both Android and iOS platforms.

Just like its predecessor, Rayman Adventures is an endless runner, but unlike Jungle Run and Fiesta Run, players will be able to change the direction of their running.

For those unfamiliar with other Rayman games, this is a 2D side-scroller platform game in the vein of Rayman Legends with which it shares the graphics style.

Players will embark on amazing adventures across dozens of worlds on a quest to rescue the Incrediballs. You will be taken through enchanted forests, haunted medieval castles and Olympus.

Save the Incrediballs!

Rayman and Barbara, his Viking companion will have to seek out and collect all of the Incrediballs and bring them home. Oh, and you can also feed them, play with them and even make music together, Ubisoft states.

If you've never played a Rayman game before, then we would like to vouch for the Rayman Adventures' amazing visuals. The game looks really good even on smaller screens.

Aside from that, prepare for a long adventure where you will face different enemies like minotaurs, bandits and many other monsters.

You can now download Rayman Adventures for Android for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.

For iOS users, the game can be downloaded for free via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 8.0 and newer.

Keep in mind that while the game is free to download, some game items can be purchased for real money. If you don't want to spend any money, you can disable the in-app purchases feature in your device's settings.
