Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise isn’t in the best place right now, but that’s no reason not to check out one the game if they’re offered for free. Ubisoft announced that gamers who haven’t yet played Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be able to do so for free this weekend.

As part of the Ubisoft 35th anniversary celebration, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will kick off a free weekend from November 4-7. Those who want to play the game for free can do it on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and Google Stadia.

More importantly, apart from having full access to the base game’s content, new players will also be able to check out Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Operation Motherland and earn related rewards.

Of course, all progress made during the free weekend will carry over in case you decide to purchase the full game. Speaking of buying the game, you can save up to 85% on Ghost Recon Breakpoint right now, although we’re recommend checking it out first. Depending on where you live, you’ll be able to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint for free until November 8 or 9.

It’s important to mention that if you plan to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint on an Xbox console, you’ll need an Xbox Live Gold membership to play online. For whatever reason, you don’t need a PlayStation Plus membership to play the game online on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. If you’re playing on PC, you can get the game via uPlay or Epic Store.

In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Operation Motherland, players will help Karen Bowman and the Outcasts liberate the island of Auroa which is at the center of an upcoming global conflict. A new faction of enemies, more dangerous than ever, will do everything to block the Ghosts’ progress.
