Ubisoft already has two popular Rayman games available on Android and iOS platforms, but the French game developer and publisher has just announced that a new one will make its way to mobiles.

Dubbed Rayman Adventures, the new game will be available on both Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. There's no word on Windows Phone, but we doubt there will be a version of the game released on this platform released along with Android and iOS.

“Rayman is returning to smartphones and tablets this fall, and he’s bringing friends. In Rayman Adventures, he and his Viking pal Barbara will tear through strange, enemy-filled new levels in search of Incrediballs, rotund creatures that pull triple duty as world-saving collectibles, sidekicks and musical playthings,” says Ubisoft.

A Windows Phone version is out of the question for now

According to Ubisoft, Rayman Adventures will feature state-of-the-art graphics. Moreover, the game is said to look very much like a console game with new dynamic particle effects and sharper 2D visuals than Rayman's previous mobile games.

Not much else is know about the game, but Ubisoft has been kind enough to publish a reveal trailer, which you can check out below.

Rayman Adventures is expected to arrive on Android and iOS in the next couple of months, but for the time being there are no details on pricing options.

However, since the other two Ubisoft games in the same franchise, Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Jungle Run are now available for $3.99 (€2.99) on both Android and iOS platforms, we suspect Rayman Adventures might be priced around the same amount.

“Headed to iOS and Android, Rayman Adventures also lets players feed, play and create music with their collected Incrediballs, and compete with friends by growing the sacred tree those Incrediballs sustain,” concluded Ubisoft in a blog post.
