Ubisoft recently revealed two new major The Division 2 updates are scheduled to arrive very soon. The first one, Update 9.1 was originally slated for a May 12 release but has been delayed for two days.

Title Update 9.1 should be released on May 14 since Ubisoft needed extra time for additional testing and fine-tuning. The more important thing about this update is that it significantly retunes NPC balancing while also implementing many bug fixes.

According to developers, “the balance changes in Title Update 9.1 are intended to eliminate outliers with NPC weapons, abilities and behaviors.” Also, certain NPC status effects will be nerfed because they were too strong, so their burn and bleed damage to players will be adjusted in this update.

More importantly, certain NPC weapons will be nerfed as well to bring them more in-line with other NPC's damage output capabilities. The same goes for the NPC grenade throw accuracy, which apparently was too ... accurate.

But wait, there's more! Title Update 9.1 brings some player buffs, such as player skills survivability, damage of status effects, and in-cover blind fire.

Some store-related changes will be added to so that The Division 2 players will be able to purchase Instant Season Level unlocks. If you don't mind spending real money, you'll be able to purchase one Level for 100 Premium Credits in the Season UI.

All the balance adjustments mentioned above will be accompanied by a bucketload of bug fixes. Make sure to check out the official changelog for all the new features and improvements included in Title Update 9.1.

Now that we're finished with Title Update 9.1, let's talk a bit about the second update planned for The Division 2. Title Update 10 is already in the works and players will get the chance to test-drive it before it goes live via Public Test Servers. This update will contain even more bug fixes and balancing changes, but for more details make sure to watch the video above.
